We surely did not invent the modular concept at Canion, but that doesn’t make it any less clever and awesome! It has been around forever, and in sectors such as the Military it has been widely used. It saves them loads of goods having to be carried around the world and enables them to rebuild and adapt their gear to each mission.
At Canion we recognized these advantages right from the get-go and have designed every module of the product in such a way that they can be replaced or upgraded easily in your own home. You can even add on extra equipment. The reasons for doing this are countless, but let's look at some of them;
- If you’d like to have a different color on any of the components to e.g. make the harness more visible, you can buy another component instead of a whole new harness. Let’s say it’s hunting season and you want the rope to be bright orange – no problem! You just buy an extra rope and replace it for the hunting season. And when the season is over you just swap them back until next time.
- Imagine you’ve invested in a good quality harness for your teenage pup, because they’ve just reached their adult size range. As all quality, it was in the upper price range, but you thought it would last for years, only to find part of it tewed up in the blink of an eye while you were getting the mail. Bummer, right? All that money down the drain! Well, not with MEGIN – you just replace the damaged component at a fraction of the cost of a whole harness, and maybe you’ll even be quicker to forgive your little terrorist for the mess-up 😉
- You buy a harness that you like, and one week later the store gets in a new version with an upgrade you never even though of. But once you see it, you feel sad that you didn’t catch it. The new version doesn’t even cost more than what you paid, but you can’t afford two almost identical harnesses just to get this awesome new detail. When buying the MEGIN harness, you don’t have to worry about there being new and better versions right around the corner - because if we change any detail, you’ll get access to it in our webstore so you can incorporate it in your fully functioning MEGIN harness by replacing the specific component.
